Brunch: April 2009
Our monthly brunch for April will be at Clyde's of Gallery Place. Please join us at Holy Rosary Church for mass on April 5th at 10:30AM or meet us at the resturant at 1PM. The resturant is located within walking distance of the church at 707 7th NW. It is also convenient by metro at the Gallery Place China Town. Location: 500 8th St SE between the Marine Corps Barracks and Eastern Market.

Fieri March Happy Hour
Due to the observance of Good Friday, Fieri Happy Hour will not be held this week. As an alternative, The Washington Italian Language Meetup Group has has extended an invitation to Fieri to attend their monthly social to be held on Friday the 28th of March at 6:30PM at the M Street Grill. The grill is located in the St. Gregory Hotel-(corner of 20th and M St. NW).

Save the Date - Fieri Cooking Class with Chef Vera - Friday, February 8
Roll up your sleeves, put on your chef's hat and prepare to be a chef de cuisine as we invite you into the kitchen of one of Washington's best chefs for a hands-on Italian cooking class.
We will be preparing the following four course meal of Sicilian cuisine. From opening up the ingredients to preparing the meal to tasting the final product, by the time this class is done you'll be ready to impress your friends, family, coworkers with your special new skill.
- Risotto Agli Agrumi - Risotto with Citrus Fruit
- Insalata di Spinaci alla Siciliana - Spinach Salad with Pine Nuts and Currants
- Pollo Conti d'Almerita - Chicken in Champagne Sauce
- Un Gelato Barocco - A Baroque Gelato
Class size is limited for this event. Each new "chef" will to enjoy a generous portion of their day's creations.
Vera Foresman, our chef for this class is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley and has worked in restaurants and catering in D.C. and Northern Virginia. For the last fifteen years she has taught a number of popular and varied cooking classes for Arlington County's Adult Education Program. Vera has traveled widely-- sampling great food along the way-- and enjoys sharing recipes and good food, as well as trading travel stories with our membership.
Please note that membership with Fieri is annual. If you have not renewed your membership in the last 12 months, you will need to pay the nonmember price.
The class will be held in Arlington, Virginia and within walking distance of the Clarendon Metro. The address will only be disclosed once you have signed up for the class.
Price $57.00 for members; $67 nonmembers.
